How many songs will we sing before we understand:
What (or Who) we are singing about?
What (or Who) we are singing for?
Is it just me or do these songs speak so obviously of our relationship with the Blessed Mother? "When a man loves a woman" he will do anything--give his rib, give his heart, give his very life. When a woman loves a man, she will offer her life as a living sacrifice. She will say 'yes' to the unknown out of intimacy. Her life will become a life of complete ecstacy! And all this joy and pleasure comes from being faithful! And O how faithful is our Mother! May she who guides us in our vocational paths (whether that be single, married, priest, brother, sister, etc.) lead us to the foot of her Son's cross that we might prepare ourselves with suffer with Him and hold Him in our arms when the time comes. May our hearts be opened and cleansed that He might find a place to rest until He resurrects!
