Mary's Day

Today, we joined in community for work period and time for recreation. This is a normal Saturday occurrence. However, this time we were joined by those attending the Discernment weekend. Showing off each others' talents at breakfast, staying loyal to our chores, and participating in basketball summed up the day!

But today is also the day of the Blessed Virgin, our Mother Mary! May we never forget her wondrous presence among us especially on Saturdays! As we take this time to reflect on our week and on our vocations, let us raise our thanks to Our Lady for her powerful intercession in our lives.

Let us remember how lucky we are to have a Mother who cares for us in every moment. What better place is there but in her love...her love that leads to the Father's heart?

Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us.

Look and See the Wonders of the LORD.

Have you ever, taken time to notice how beautiful life is? Have you taken that time to see God’s many blessings in our life? Life is so beautiful. We have all been given so much by God, yet we sometimes forget about all those things. Sometimes all it requires is to take time to reflect on all of the many positive things in our life. Sunday’s Gospel reminded us of our responsibility given to us to share of all of our “talents” with others.

Though life has its highs and lows, we must always do our best in all that we do and share our love with others. We are able to find our strength in God because He tells us that the more we give, the more we will receive. So don’t be fearful of truly living your life to the fullest. In the end we’ll be able to take a step back and see the beauty of it all.

The following video testifies to the awesomeness of life!! God is Love!! He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!!
