Though we finished classes and tests just in time to get an amazing 4 days of conferences from Father Rafael Borges, SDB, of Venezuela, it's time for most of us to hurry and get out while we can!!!
This is mostly a joke; but, for most, it actually is a "hurried" exit. Some candidates are leaving for the YAR (Salesian Young Adult Retreat) this weekend, some pre-novices are about to leave for their trip to Canada, some post-novices are about to leave for Haiti, some are leaving today for the Visitation, some are getting ready for Marian Day tomorrow at the Marian Shrine.
It is wonderful to witness how the busyness of our lives all take a stand-still to honor our Lady as a whole province of Salesians. If you're in the area, come and join the family!
So, as one can see, everyone is very busy with ministries before their summer ministries begin. However, all things are for the Lord, who is deserving of all praise. Let us praise Him with our lives today and always!!
